The IA/NE Public Art Networking Conference 2008 is a meeting for individuals, artists, organizations & communities engaged in public art projects, and others wanting to know more about public art.
The conference is being hosted by Iowa West Public Art, an initiative of the Iowa West Foundation, and the Nebraska Arts Council in partnership with the Iowa Arts Council. This year celebrates the fourth year for Iowa Public Art Networking conference, and the first year that Iowa and Nebraska have collaborated to host the conference. Attendees are welcome from throughout both states and the midwest.
The Conference is being held at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The Conference will begin and end each day at the Mid-America Center.Conference panels and tours will occur at locations in Council Bluffs, Iowa and Omaha, Nebraska. Transportation is provided.
